All-Star Hawaii Nimitz- Not just for Paint Ball

Sitting at the end of town, butted up against the ocean, and a small village of homeless; sits All-Star Hawaii Nimitz field.  Run by the ever energetic Brandon Cayetano, it offers a variety of field flavors ranging from open mounds, to a house field with several small 1 room building spread out with some containers.  Having breathed new life into Hawaii's paintball scene, Brandon now turns to the airsoft community with high hoopes for the future on-island.

Tips for Scenario Games

Scenario games are extrodinarily fun and add a lot of flavor to Airsoft games. While standard force force is fast paced and fun if you have played 10 straight games it tends to get monotonous. However scenario games can be very tricky to design so in this article we will cover some tips on designing scenarios. Of course everything starts with an idea perhaps based on real life or on movies. Favorites such as Black Hawk down or North Hollywood are based on pop culture and adapted to airsoft. Perhaps something in a video game such as Max Payne or Call of Duty IV. However good ideas take time and planning to make a viable game. You need to take into account simplicity, players involved, terrain, objectives and fun.

Walking into E-Power Sports on a Friday evening, you might wonder if this is part of one of the clubs downstairs. On the counter that hides the tech's work area a small TV plays a movie, while several guys sit on the purple couch and bar stools sprinkled around the room. Off to the side one of the shop guys is showing a customer a gun from off the wall. Behind the cash register is Ernie, the shop owner and the target for this interview.

Independence Weekend Friday Nite Game

THE VOTE IS IN!!!!  THE "YES" HAS IT SO COMBAT SIMS IS PUTTING ON ANOTHER NIGHT GAME @ HAWAII ALL STAR PAINTBALL ON JULY 3rd, FRIDAY NIGHT OF INDEPENDENCE WEEK END

We only have limited spots available and we need to start registering people ASAP in order to reserve the location.  The cost is $20 per participant.  Send all participant's first and last name and contact # to info@combatsims.org.  There are a limited amount of spots open, and they do fill up quickly so don't wait until the last minute to register.

We'll be playing from 6PM to 11PM.  We are planning to play some of the games we played last time some revised rules based on feedback and play some of the games we did not get to last time.

On June 26th the playing fee will go up to $25.
